The community of Summerville is mourning the loss of Natasha Michelle Anderson, affectionately known as “Tasha,” who passed away at her residence on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the age of 47. Her death has brought deep sorrow to family, friends, and longtime residents of Chattooga County, who remember her as a devoted wife, loving mother, and compassionate presence whose life was centered around her family and those she held dear.
Born in Rome on November 24, 1978, Natasha Michelle Anderson was the daughter of the late Johnny “Buck” Roach and Jewel Dean Teems Roach. She spent her life in Chattooga County, where she became known for her warm personality, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones. As a homemaker, she devoted much of her life to raising and supporting her children, a role she embraced with pride, patience, and deep love.
Friends and relatives describe Natasha as someone who found joy in life’s simplest moments. Her family remained at the center of everything she did, and she took great pride in building lasting memories with them. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog and her Jeep, hobbies that reflected her spirited personality and appreciation for everyday life.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Anderson; her children, Cameron Anderson and Sophia Anderson; her siblings; extended family members; and many nieces and nephews who mourn her deeply.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, with a memorial service to follow at a later date.
